"Congratulations on, in my opinion, one of
the "seeds of greatness" in magic literature. This book has opened
my eyes to all of the questions I have had, and a lot more
that I had not even thought of, pertaining to living my life as a
magician. My hat is off to you and I hope nobody reads your book
because it will make my job even harder when other magicians know
the secrets within it's pages. I can't thank you enough."

"I have Jim Snack's Success In Magic Course and it is GREAT!!!
Just started reading the books and already have
increased my income by $500 just by following ONE, count em, ONE
of his suggestions!!!!
Best investment I made
to increase my income."

"If
your desire is to learn what it REALLY takes to earn a large
income performing magic, then getting Jim Snack's course is
a MUST! How many times
have you spent money on magic tricks, only to find you don't
use 80% of them? Yet for a small investment (that
you'll recoup from just ONE booking which, if you follow all
of Jim's guidelines, should be VERY EASY), you can learn how
to earn either a full-time living, or an excellent part-time
living as a performer. Who else will teach you the
REAL WORK behind earning money in magic? Highly recommended"

"Jim,
I've been reading your book again and again. It's by far the best
resource out there for anyone trying to get more business. For the
beginner, it's an absolute wealth of information that covers everything
they'll need to know. For anyone who's been performing part time and
wants to now build the business to a full-time status, there's great
information. The material you have is phenomenal, and much better
than anything I've seen out there."

I
just finished reading Volume One. What an excellent resource for the
up and coming and professional magician/entertainer. I like the
honesty in your writing. You tell it like it is, giving the pros and cons of
becoming a successful entertainer. Advice from a real working professional.
No pie in the sky stuff, just practical advice that has worked for you
and could easily be duplicated by others. I can’t wait to dig into Volume
Two. Assuming that a person has a commercial act and this book, there is no
reason for anyone not to be successful.

"This is a worthwhile investment for
anyone wanting to turn pro, or for professionals that would like
to break into different markets, since Jim gives lots of detailed
how-to advice.
Furthermore, the section on contracts is worth its weight in
gold, showing me how to negotiate and finalize details. In
fact, I have used the contract and agreement forms from the book
since I read them. Highly recommended”

"As a fulltime variety performer for
20+ yrs. I have read a lot of "Make-money-with-your-act" type
books. Most were lousy. This is definitely not that type of
book! This is a well written, well thought out guide on how to
really make it in the variety arts business. It is written by a
person who has truly "lived it". It's not a rehash of outdated
and overused marketing ideas. It overruns with great ideas and
concepts. In my opinion, the best how-to guide of the past 10
yrs. If you truly desire to grow your entertainment
business....BUY THIS BOOK!

"When I got the Success-In-Magic books I wasn't sure what to
expect. I figured no matter what, I could find one good idea
and use it to book just one show and more than justify the
expense.
Your writing style is fun and to the point, so I enjoyed the early
chapters as a refresher course, which was good for my psyche. By the end of Volume One, I was re-thinking my entire business
plan. Cool, I thought.
Then I started Volume Two: 64 New Ways to Make Magic Pay and
it is HANDS DOWN the BEST resource for performers on
the market. Unbelievable! I bought this hoping
for one good idea and at least one show, but this is worth
thousands to me, this year alone! Thanks!!"

"After reading Jim Snack's
Success-In-Magic, I feel ready to conquer the world of magic!
I've known Jim for several years and he is the man I go to when I
have questions about being a successful magician. I know
that his ideas work because I have seen first hand the kind of
success Jim has achieved. Jim is a "doer" so you can rest
assured that the ideas he gives you have been used with tremendous
results and are not just untested ideas. The most valuable
part to me was the specific examples of how to put these ideas
into action."

Success-in-Magic
was not written over-night. It is obviously the
career of a successful, professional, contemporary magician
summarized so a reader can make a leap to the next
level of
performing. Jim guides you through unobvious choices a
magical entertainer can make. He describes opportunities for
magicians that only a versatile, seasoned professional would
know. For me, his plethora of resources for promotional
services, audio products, road cases, and other necessary
paraphernalia; advice on a business plan; and examples of
contracts and technical riders made this 500 page book worth
the read. I recommend it!"
